Leadership

The complex, multifaceted nature of the Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) Study benefits from a leadership model with multiple principal investigators (MPIs). Drs. Linda McEvoy, Andrea LaCroix, and Paul Crane offer deep and complementary expertise in geriatric epidemiology and clinical research as well as decades of experience collaborating with one another and many other members of the ACT Study teams.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is composed of the three multiple principal investigators and several project and core leaders. The committee’s primary objectives are to identify significant strategic issues and provide preliminary guidance for decision-making by the Steering Committee.

Steering Committee

All of the core and project leaders serve on the Steering Committee. The committee sets overall governance approaches and ensures satisfactory progress toward the specific aims and annual milestones for each component of the ACT Study. This deliberative body develops key policies pertaining to collaboration and data sharing.
